Calum Scott is a British singer-songwriter who has won the hearts of listeners worldwide with his unique combination of soulful voice, emotional lyrics, and charismatic delivery. He burst onto the scene in 2015 thanks to his participation in the Britain’s Got Talent competition, where he charmed not only the judges but also millions of viewers with his performance. Since then, his stardom has only risen.
His debut album Only Human (2018) has become a global phenomenon – reaching the top of the iTunes charts in more than 20 countries and achieving gold or platinum status in 21 countries. It includes the quintuple platinum hit You Are The Reason and the famous cover of Dancing On My Own by Robyn, which earned Calum a Brit Award nomination and over a billion streams.
The second album Bridges (2022) showed that Calum’s music is not only beautiful but also deeply inspiring. The songs Heaven, If You Ever Change Your Mind, and Rise became anthems of emotion and hope. Rolling Stone magazine included the song Rise among the “50 most inspiring LGBTQ songs of all time.”
His songs have been heard in popular series and shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, American Idol or Dancing With The Stars. Calum has also appeared on prestigious television shows including Good Morning America, Live with Kelly and Ryan or Late Night with Seth Meyers. As an opening act, he accompanied Ed Sheeran on his huge Mathematics Tour across Asia and Europe, where he moved audiences with his captivating voice on the world’s biggest stages.
In recent years, Calum has also attracted attention with his new work. The singles Whistle (2023, a collaboration with DJ Jax Jones), At Your Worst (2023), Lighthouse (2024) and Roots (2024) all found success. He also delighted fans with the Christmas duet Kid at Christmas (2024) with American singer Christina Perri. His newer compositions demonstrate musical diversity, openness to new genres, and a willingness to collaborate with other prominent artists.
