Charlie Cunningham returns to Prague after his sold-out show in 2019
On August 8, 2023, the talented London songwriter, known for his warm voice and charmingly melancholic songs, will be performing at the Prague Conservatory’s unconventional and architecturally fascinating concert hall. During his time in Seville, Spain, he had the opportunity to learn from flamenco masters, which greatly influenced his music and introduced a famous percussive guitar sound to his repertoire.
Charlie Cunningham has headlined London’s iconic Queen Elizabeth Hall and is a regular performer at Europe’s most prestigious concert halls. After 2 released albums and 4 EPs, which together collected over half a billion streams, his latest musical effort is the album ‘Frame’. A collection of fresh pop songs that is a delightful mix that draws inspiration from art rock, golden age jazz, and neoclassical composition. Despite the incorporation of these diverse influences, he manages to maintain the humble and natural musicality for which he is widely praised. The result is a captivating musical experience that seamlessly weaves together elements of different genres, creating a unique and memorable sound.
