Daði Freyr and his band will deliver an unforgettable dance party on the 13th of September at the ROXY club in Prague. Daði Freyr Pétursson is an artist from Iceland based in Berlin. His creative talent is reflected not only in the songwriting, but also in the visuals and choreography of the performances. He plays electric piano, bass and drums. All his work shows off his charming sense of humor.
Last year he sold out ROXY in his first-ever performance in the Czech Republic. This year Daði will be touring with his debut album “I Made An Album”, which he wrote, recorded and produced himself. The Album will be released in the summer, and his fans can already get a taste of it and listen to some of the singles such as “I’m fine”, “Limit To Love”, “ShutUp” and “Thank You”.
“I Made An Album” comes two years after Daði Freyr won over the heart of Eurovision 2021, where he placed fourth. He has been streamed over 200 million times and sold out his last tour with 30 000 tickets in only 7 days.
He is also known for creating video games and pixel art. He has a very unique way of engaging his fans, which he proved when he put together a virtual choir of one thousand of his fans from all over the world to sing one of the seven parts of his song “10 Years” alongside the Gagnamagnið band that is made up of his friends and family.
