Isabella Rodriguez, better known as Isabella Lovestory, is a Honduras-born singer-songwriter, DJ, producer and jewelry designer. Her music meshes her Central American roots with American pop sensibilities. With her eclectic and innovative take on pop-reggaeton, she is single-handedly paving her own way through the traditionally male-dominated genre.

Her family moved to the USA when she was growing up, which she describes as a cultural shock, that deeply affected her music. A few years later she settled down in Montreal.

Originally finding her start on Soundcloud with her album “Juguete”, she has since released her first EP, “Humo” in 2019, followed by “Mariposa” in 2020. In October 2022 she released her latest album “Amor Hardcore”, which received positive reviews from sources such as Billboard, Interview Magazine, Resident Advisor, and Pitchfork.

Dazed magazine said of the album: “With stories of love, sex, rage and ecstasy, listening to AMOR HARDCORE is like falling in love. It’s frenzied and immediate-sounding, grabbing your attention and refusing to let go.”

Isabella Lovestory released a new single “Latina” in March 2023 and announced a European tour LATICONICA, which will see her visit major cities, Primavera Sound festival and perform for the first time in the Czech Republic at Prague’s Chapeau Rouge on 12 June 2023.
