Tim Kamrad is a talented 27-year-old German artist, songwriter and producer who combines elements of pop, R'n'B and EDM in his work, creating his own impressive pop style with an electronic twist. KAMRAD has an exceptional flair for catchy lyrics and melodies. His songs and charismatic performances quickly gained millions of fans not only in Germany. In the autumn of this year, Tim will judging in the competition "The Voice of Germany".
In the Czech Republic, Tim, performing under the stage name KAMRAD, became the foreign discovery of 2022 on Radio Evropa 2.
At the beginning of 2022, the song “I Believe” became a breakthrough for Tim, which reached the TOP 10 in the airplay charts in nine European countries and received gold and platinum awards in five of them, including Germany and Poland. On TikTok alone, this hit single has over 50 million views, and on Spotify, the song has surpassed 100 million streams. In “I Believe,” KAMRAD sings about trust issues in relationships and the difficulty of finding true love in the age of social media.
In 2016, KAMRAD released his first single “Changes”, in 2017 his debut EP “Changes”, in 2018 his debut album “Down & Up” followed by the EP “Not Good at Playing Love Songs” in 2023. New for spring 2024 is the single “So Good” and more tracks are already on their way to fans. Since 2019, he has been recording his songs in his own recording studio in Bochum-Langendreer.
