Peter Francis McPoland is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who’s capturing hearts with his open, emotional style that blends indie rock and alternative pop. At the end of September, he released his brand-new album Big Lucky – and now he’s taking it on the road with the Big Lucky Tour.

Released on September 26, 2025, Big Lucky is Peter’s most personal project yet. All 16 tracks were written, recorded, and produced entirely by Peter himself – using nothing but an old tape recorder. The result is a raw, honest sound that radiates the joy of making music and a return to his roots. The album explores themes of life and death, love, identity, and childhood. Its title comes from a four-leaf clover Peter has carried since his teenage years – a symbol of luck and hope – which also appears on the hand-painted album cover.

Coming from a musical family, Peter taught himself guitar at fourteen and quickly began writing his own songs. He draws inspiration from artists like John Prine, Bruce Springsteen, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Dire Straits – artists who taught him the power of storytelling, lyricism, and sonic authenticity.

In 2021, Peter signed with the legendary Columbia Records. He released his debut EP Slow Down in 2022, followed by his first full-length album Piggy in 2023 and the EP Friend in 2024.
