The Kiffness is the name of David Scott’s music project. David is a gifted South African producer, singer and keyboardist whose electronic music is a fusion of various genres including jazz, house and pop. The work of The Kiffness is energetic, entertaining, with its distinct added value in the elements of comedy and satire.

He broke through in South Africa with his debut single ‘Where Are You Going’ which was released in 2013. Since then he has released several hits including ‘Pushin’ On’, ‘Find A Way’ and ‘Too Blessed To Be Stressed’.

When the pandemic broke out in 2020, David made his way to an international online audience with parodies about the coronavirus and began experimenting with video content and music remixes. His audio-visual work has become a huge hit and The Kiffness YouTube channel now has 1.7 million subscribers.

David is an important voice not only in the South African music scene, but he also found his place on international radio stations, at festivals, on online platforms and on many world stages.
